This November we’re planning to launch interest groups - chances to connect through shared hobbies, passions and interests.
Running for just 4 weeks, these groups are designed to help us build friendships, strengthen church family, and create welcoming spaces for those who aren’t part of Grace Church yet.
We don’t want them to replace our community groups, but act as another opportunity to build connection.
Our Interest Groups
We have 4 groups you can choose from;
Creative Writing
Led by Tony Cummings at the Church Venue.
Sessions to share tips and offer coaching for writers (over 18 years old) with any stage and experience.
(Day/time to be confirmed after initial expressions of interest determine how big a space is needed.)
Family-friendly board games
Led by Paul Nixon at the Church Venue, Saturday afternoons, 2-4:30pm.
Whether you're part of a family, or enjoy playing simple games with others, you'll be welcome.
(Children must be accompanied by their parent/carer at all times.)
"Flat" walks and cafes
Led by Ches Nixon at various locations on Saturday mornings.
Gentle walks on mostly level routes, with a café stop and good company. Everyone welcome.
Dance Workshop
Led by Farah at the Church Venue (8th, 14th, 21st, 28th November).
For those interested in movement and dance- no prior experience necessary!
1.5 hr sessions, start time to be confirmed.
