Next steps

Our goal is to help you to always know what your next step should be toward spiritual maturity.

1. Salvation in Jesus

We want to help people come to life and experience the radical grace that God offers through a relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view; whoever they are and whatever their story.

2. Baptism

Baptism publicly announces our faith, identifies us with Jesus, and symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. It’s the way that God wants all new believers to go “all in” and go public with their faith. It’s a simple act, but it takes great courage and obedience.

3. Community Groups

Community Groups are smaller gatherings where we meet in homes to learn more about what it means to follow Jesus and apply His teachings to our life. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the city of Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas and we are always looking to build more groups.

4. Become a Member

We don’t just want to show up on a Sunday, but show commitment to one another and to those leading us. At Grace Church we do this via recognised church membership. Its not about being part of a club and certainly doesn’t include any fees. Its about formally saying ‘we’re with you’. If you’ve attended a new members day and you’re ready to commit to Grace Church membership, you can do so by completing the membership form at the Welcome Hub, signing it, and handing it in to the Welcome Hub or to one of the elders on Sunday.

5. Get Involved

Saved people serve people, so we move from being consumers to being contributors. We follow the example of Christ Jesus himself, who became the servant of all. We are called to use the various gifts God has given us to build up and serve one another.
